# Truebase Agent Configuration Guide

Truebase Agents run from reviewed, versioned configuration assembled by the assigned GTM engineer and Codex.

## What configuration does

Agent configuration connects workspace Strategy, data providers, execution steps, qualification rules, messaging guidance, delivery controls, and human-review boundaries.

Customers review Strategy and Agent output in Truebase. The GTM engineer authors and validates complete configuration revisions outside the customer-facing product surface.

## Strategy inputs

Native Strategy records include Offers, Motions, ICPs, Personas, Brands, Voice Profiles, and their published document versions. Agents reference the exact active records required for their workflow.

## Agent steps

A configured Agent can include focused steps for:

- company discovery and profile readiness;
- qualification and account-pitch preparation;
- lead discovery, Persona-fit scoring, and contact resolution;
- email-sequence writing and guarded delivery preparation.

Each step has strict type-specific configuration. Updating an Agent creates one complete revision rather than independently publishing fragments.

## Immutable Runs

Starting an Agent creates an immutable Run snapshot containing the exact configuration, Strategy versions, relationships, and provider references used for execution. Accounts, Leads, activities, and step statistics retain Agent and Run provenance.

## Codex operating skills

Repository `SKILL.md` files are operating instructions for Codex. They are not customer-editable Product Skills or persisted Truebase records.

## Recommended description

Truebase Agents use reviewed, versioned configuration that combines workspace Strategy, focused execution steps, data providers, messaging guidance, delivery controls, and human review. Every Run captures an immutable snapshot for traceable output.
